Location: IOAD .. The Baton Rouge State Capitol and the Governor’s mansion. will be lit in purple at dusk on August 31st. We will bring pictures, memorabilia and/or flameless candles to honor our loved ones lost to addiction and/or substance use disorder. This is a first in Baton Rouge.

The Baton Rouge State Capitol and the Governor’s mansion will be lit in purple at dusk on August 31st. We will bring pictures, memorabilia and/or flameless candles to honor our loved ones lost to addiction and/or substance use disorder. We are hoping for many peolple to come and participate. This is a first in Baton Rouge.

Overdose affects everyone. From grieving families to spontaneous first responders, the impacts of overdose are far-reaching and fall indiscriminately.
