As part of International Overdose Awareness Day, CATNPUD (Catalan Network of People who Use Drugs) will organise a gathering at Plaça Emili Vendrell to remember and honour those who are no longer with us, while creating a community space for memory, care and advocacy.

During the event, we will carry out an awareness-raising campaign to break the stigma surrounding overdoses and substance use, sharing harm reduction information and strategies on how to prevent and reverse overdoses and how to support someone through a difficult drug experience, taking into account the specific characteristics of different substances.

We will also offer a drug checking service at L’Arravalera, in collaboration with Energy Control, providing tools that can help people make more informed decisions and reduce the risks associated with substance use.
