Via the CNP – Clean Needle Program – we will be promoting harm reduction, overdose awareness and responses to opioids, stimulants, psychoactive drugs.
Key features we are planning for IOAD on 1st floor UCity Adelaide, include a Memory tree [to which people can express memorandums or write messages on gorgeous paper and attach] + badges with badge making kit. We’re also hoping to display the OAD quilt created previously by clean needle program clients. Naloxone is still available free in SA from registered pharmacies so promotion of requisite vouchers along with info on use and access of THN [Take Home Naloxone] will happen during the week of 31st August.
Posters, novelty resources and information will additionally be displayed to support and promote IOAD with focus in clean needle program, aod services as well as throughout the whole of Uniting Communities.
