So with Covid-19 we can’t do awareness walks, candle light vigils, etc. So we are hosting an event called #EmpirePurple where buildings and homes are asked to shine a purple light. This can be putting a purple filter over their spotlights or putting a purple light-bulb in a lamp by their window. The idea is to raise awareness of the Overdose awareness day and give people the opportunity to drive around and see all of the buildings in the area illuminated in purple.
