Come and Support Overdose Awareness Day with CARES & Safe Harbor, along with Easton Police Department and Phillipsburg Police Department. When communities come together we build a stronger foundation! Help end the stigma. If you’ve lost someone you love to addiction we will all walk to remember them. Phillipsburg will be meeting Easton on the free bridge and everyone will be given a flower to toss over the bridge for remembrance. Awards, free food, and live music will be held at Easton’s Scott Park.

2nd Annual Fox Cities Recovery Celebration and Memorial Walk to celebrate those in recovery and to remember those who have died from their addiction or the result of someone else’s addiction. Preregister to get the least expensive price $15 for adults and $10 for children with a guarantee of receiving a Walk t-shirt and Memorial Sign until August 25. Beginning August 26, there is an added online fee of $1.50 without a guarantee of a t-shirt and Memorial Sign.

4:00 pm Walk begins to view and reflect on Memorial Signs posted along the walk route
After the walk, gather at the Pavilion to join the Fox Cities Lights of Hope event (free) to listen to speakers, participate in candlelight vigil to celebrate those in recovery and to remember our loved ones, as well as those still struggling and those who are incarcerated. The Wisconsin Faces of Addiction and Recovery Quilts will be displayed. Narcan training will also be available for anyone who wants to be trained.
